There was a little girl growing inside this tummy last week.  She made her arrival on May 8th and has known nothing but love since.

This family has a special place in my heart.  The little man was one my first ever “clients”, I photographed them as a family when he was 2 and I was there for their wedding in Florida.  Now, they are adding a new edition to their little family and I can’t wait to meet her!

Isn’t she a beautiful momma in waiting?

I love this picture. Three years old and completely in love with superheroes…

{ ‘I have balloons, balloons and they’ll be all here for you’ } Reno, NV Family Photographer

Sweet little girl,

When you are sitting on the sofa with your mom and dad, with your feet tucked under you; when you ask what you were like as a child and who you looked like as a baby; when you question where your love of pink came from…

Your parents will pull out the pictures that show your beautiful blue eyes and tell you about how much you are loved.  How your mom knew pink would always be your color because of the way your skin glows, how before you could speak, you would hear a bird chirp and show everyone the sign for bird…

And you will be grateful for the effort your parents took to record you as you grow and the perfect afternoon created for you, because you won’t remember being one… but your family will never forget!

{ “if you only knew the real me i might even be a rock star” }

A rockstar is what he wants to be when he grows up.  He is beginning to be more into skateboarding, has dance moves I can only dream of and has the kindest heart.

His BFF was coming over the day we were planning on taking these photos, so I thought it would be fun to include her!  I just love the relationship these two have.  I pray that they don’t lose their special bond as the grow older and their lives change.

It was so much fun preparing for and shooting these pics. I think the kids had a blast –  doing their hair, changing their clothes and coming up with poses!

Happy Birthday my little man, you are growing up way too fast!

This family has no shortage of fun!  The love they had for one another shone through during this session even though they were FREEZING; I don’t think any of us could feel our fingers by the time we were done!  The boys were awesome despite the cold.  I just love the shots with the cupcakes ~ they are my FAVORITE, they really show the personality of this family!

{ Cosette }

Losing a pet is heartbreaking, you are losing a member of your family.  My mom’s French Bulldog, Cossette, died today.  She had a full life, but that doesn’t make it any easier.  So sorry for your loss Mom, Jim & Roxy. We all love you.
